Our entertainments team in Weston super Mare recently organised a private party for a business with a small number of employees. They booked our Party Special Package. This includes the three most popular casino games – roulette, blackjack and poker. Staffed by professional croupiers plus a casino manager to oversee the action. Our clients first went for a meal at a top restaurant in Bristol and then came back to their place of work . To their surprise, they saw that the workplace had evolved into a CASINO! Aces Fun entertainment team had set up the party-themed tables. Much fun and excitement was to follow. After a very exciting couple of hours, the business owner said they had the best Christmas Party in years.

Let us take the stress out of your workload. Having to arrange your works party can be a daunting prospect. One thing I would like to stress is the need to book early. The weekend nights in December are especially busy. Apart from the repeat bookings we have (and after so many years there are quite a few of them), Fridays and Saturdays start getting booked up in January. Another word of advice, let us guide you through the booking process. It’s not that difficult but table/guest ratio and timings are important to get right.

Fun Casino 25 Years in Business ‘My Golden Nugget’ by June Howley
Looking back beyond my 25 years in business. Remembering the first moment I saw a group of very attractive female croupiers swish past the reception of the Golden Nugget Casino, London. Most were carrying evening gowns. I wondered what on earth they were going to be doing – and whether I might join them. I was ‘temping’ on their reception and switchboard that evening. Many years later and having spent most of my working life behind a gaming table I still love the games, the atmosphere and the people I’ve met and known in the gaming industry.
Becoming a croupier was my passport to travel. It gave me opportunities to travel and work in some ‘far-flung’ places. Some I’d never even heard of till I got there. Gabon for example, a country tucked into the west coast of Africa, just on the equator. It was handy for malaria whilst there and Pointless questions ever since. A few years after I’d come out of the business I found I missed it so much I started my own own fun casino business. That was 25 years ago – I’m still passionate about what I do. I still take a pride in how we go about supplying the very best in party entertainment.
