Our entertainments team in Weston super Mare recently organised a private party for a business with a small number of employees.  They booked our Party Special Package. This includes the three most popular casino games – roulette, blackjack and poker. Staffed by professional croupiers plus a casino manager to oversee the action.  Our clients first went for a meal at a top restaurant in Bristol and then came back to their place of work . To their surprise, they saw that the workplace had evolved into a CASINO! Aces Fun entertainment team had set up the party-themed tables. Much fun and excitement was to follow. After a very exciting couple of hours, the business owner said they had the best Christmas Party in years.

Apart from the repeat bookings we have (and after so many years there are quite a few of them), Fridays and Saturdays start getting booked up in January. Another word of advice, let us guide you through the booking process.  It’s not that difficult but table/guest ratio and timings are important to get right.

Personalised Fun Money, Photo and Event Date

Here at Aces Fun Casinos we are very used to talking through the part of the day we’ll be helping to entertain the guests. The last thing we want to do is add stress to an already stressful situation therefore we are careful to hear what our brides are saying – how they ‘see’ the casino. We’ll create their own unique fun money, their photo, names and wedding date printed on a note for each guest.

We will arrive at least an hour before we are due to open – even earlier if necessary. We’ll make sure the casino is up and ready to open at whatever time our couple decide. We will hand out the fun money, open the casino and at the end we’ll even provide a nice bottle of bubbly for the highest roller before discreetly dismantling and removing our kit.

Sometimes we are asked the dimensions of our tables – one of our brides to be recently requested we visit her proposed venue before she made up her mind. Now usually, in my experience, people planning their weddings will have exacting criteria – some of which are mentioned above but this lovely lady – or her partner to be more precise, was basing his decision on whether there would be enough room to fit three of our casino tables in! It was and what a great rehearsal it became for their honeymoon in – guess where? Las Vegas – where else!

How to Book A Charity Race Night

How A Race Night Works

A race night is one of the most rewarding events and a fantastic way to raise valuable funds for your cause be it your local club, charity, school or society.

There are quite a few things that you will need to make your race night a success.

Charity Fundraising Organisers

Depending on your objectives for the entertainment and race night, but most fund raising events are run to make the most money for your charity or cause.

For tips on making the most money we would recommend speaking with one of our Race Night team members. We  are able to give you valuable tips for making money before and during your race night.

Our race night staff are Professionally trained to make sure your event goes by with great success and helping to raise even more money that expected.

There are always many jobs that need to be done before and during the race night to make it a great success.

Pig Racing

Before your race night we always organise the following and incorporate:

A Race Night Promotions Manager – This is an Aces Fun team member.

You will need someone to help put up race night posters prior to the event, speak with local companies to get prizes and sponsorship for the race night. Sell the advanced race night programme if you have one created.

A Race Night Event Manager – Someone to sort out the venue for the race night, Master of ceremonies and event planner.

Horse Racing Organisers

During the charity race night you will need the following.

A Race Night Master of Ceremonies – This is usually an Aces Fun Race Night member of staff but will require confirming when booking us for your event.

Alternatively, you can hire a local MC or better known as a Master of Ceremonies but the local character of the club can usually do a good job and this will help the race night run at a great profit.

Race Night Tote Ticket Sellers – These are staff members or people who take the race night wagers as volunteers.

As our race night betting uses fun betting slips, just like the real thing, it’s very quick to operate and it means that any tote seller can take any race night wager.

Race Night Tote Ticket Payout Members – This is the person who is responsible for paying out the race night winners. Depending upon the size of your race night this can be covered by the seller.

A Big Projection Screen – Someone to be in charge of the displaying of the race night races and the sound system.

Aces Race Night Support Staff – People to help generally on the day of the race night.

Horse Race Nights

Someone who is able to sell your race night programme if you have one available along with your raffle tickets that always sell well if great prizes are to win and not forgetting the cleaners to clear up after the race night punters have all gone home!

As an organisation, you can decide on the size of each race night bet or if left to our organisation then we can run this as we have for many years. The Fun Betting can be anything you like but we would recommend either small denominations of money to increase the amounts of bets placed such as 50p or even £1.00.  You then decide how much of the race night tote the charity will retain for their funds – we would recommend anything between 40% and 60% but this is once again negotiable.

Once you have made all of these decisions, we are able to open the race night tote for the first race.

Punters may place as many bets on as many horses, greyhounds, camels, pigs or any other racing fun characters or animals as they wish in the following race.

When all bets have been placed the race night tote is closed. This is to comply with the current legislation set in the UK.

Big Screen Racing

The Aces Fun Casino Corporate Entertainment Anniversary

Every year is an Anniversary for us at Aces Fun Casinos and Entertainment, we’ve lost count of the Events, Parties and entertaining parties we have been part of, across the South West of the United Kingdom and on a regular weekly basis, to say we are proud of our entertainment services would simply be an understatement.

The Casino Royale and James Bond themed events seem to be very popular but not as much as the race nights over the years, for charity and for business entertainment. We have lost count to the amount of times we’ve put on shows that the punters have said it’s been “The Best Fun Casino Party” they’d ever seen.

We were looking back at the distance and mileage we have covered travelling to so many places across Somerset, Bristol and beyond, the most visited city I think has to be Bristol closely followed by Cardiff or Taunton, I’m not sure if everyone parties on a more regular basis at these locations or Aces Fun Casinos are just more appealing.

During the Summer of 2013 we organised no less than 9 Summer Balls that included Blackjack with Poker nights, Roulette tables mixed with a spot of true entertainment with our battery operated pig racing. Seeing these little pigs racing makes everyone laugh and the atmosphere is fantastic, it amazes me that such little furry things racing across the tables or floor gets the crowds and party going every night.

There’s always a serious side as Fun Casino Organisers and that’s when we provide a Charity Fundraising night that usually involves a charity or organisation needing an entertainment package that includes everything you could want from raffle tickets to the bottle of bubbly that the punters or friends and family can win.

There’s perks to every job, and for Aces Fun Entertainment and the team it has to be dressing up for a James Bond Casino Royale night, getting to wear a tuxedo and looking “Shaken but not stirred” or a Vegas night dressed with a glamorous long sparkly dress that is guaranteed to get attention.

As Christmas approaches we have already provided a few Corporate Xmas party nights and entertainment for private Christmas parties, when arranged the parties receive the utmost from all of the team members to make sure each and every person that attends leaving with a smile on their faces knowing you have had a great night for business colleagues, employees or family and friends.

We do have multiple Poker tables and Roulette tables so there’s never a worry if your party is going to be larger than most, the biggest event we attended was a few years ago for a large Wedding in Somerset, entertaining over 500 guests in the biggest marquee I have ever seen, it reminded me of the millennium dome. The couple that were getting married asked for every type of entertainment that we could provide, so, we turned up with everything, 3 croupiers, 3 Blackjack dealers, 3 hosts, 3 entertainers, 5 raffle ticket touts to buy race night tickets from, 5 Vegas girls, a James Bond and 5 stall holders for other tables and it still wasn’t enough, so we had to hire an extra casino table and 2 additional Poker Tables, all I can say is as the official organisers of the Wedding Reception Party it was one of the best we’ve ever organised and will be remembered for many years.

We look forward to the New Year Party events in Bristol and surrounding regions as we will yet again be seeing in the New Year at one of our many entertaining parties, this year there will be lots of fireworks, at the casino tables and across the skyline no doubt. It’s always nice for the punters who love to place a stake on Black or Red that they are not using real money, they’re not winning or losing but still being entertained. There’s nothing better though than seeing a customer/client or punter who keeps on winning, at the table or on the big screen racing, the prize is always a nice surprise especially when it’s not expected.
