We are delighted to be asked to supply a charity fun casino event for this brilliant charity night. It’s happening at the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare on Saturday 20th September. All funds raised will go to Weston Hospice Care so please book a table and bring friends and family.
How to raise money at a fun casino
The very best way to raise money for a charity is to sell the fun money we give you. You can of course factor the cost of the casino into your ticket price and give the fun money away. However, by far the most effective way is to sell the fun money and give the highest roller a good prize at the end of the gaming session. Worried about breaking the law?

The Gambling Act 2005 allows you to host a fun casino for charitable or non-commercial purposes without a licence. If you are not playing for real money and prizes are awarded for winners that do not exceed £600 total value, then you won’t need a licence.

The Regency Suite at The Grand Pier is where it’s all happening. Proceedings begin at 7 pm and dinner is served at 8 pm. There is a full evening’s entertainment but don’t forget to bring your cheque book. Casino fun money can be bought. Ten pounds will get you $100.00. This can be exchanged for chips at the gaming tables.
There is also the silent auction where a number of gorgeous items are available. Place a bid or two – who knows you may get lucky here as well as in the casino.
